B.L.T. on ciabatta
Lashings of bacon, crispy local lettuce & fresh tomato. Served with chunky fries & a side of aioli.  $20.  Add grilled chicken +$6

Steak sandwich
150gm sirloin cooked as you like it on rustic toasted bread with caramelized onions, mushrooms, egg  & a side of salad. Served with chunky fries.  $24

Chicken schnitzel double down
Fresh crumbed chicken breast sandwiched around bacon, melted swiss cheese, BBQ sauce & aioli. Served with a bowl of mushroom & bacon sauce, fries & salad. $26

Bacon, grilled eggs, kransky sausages, hashballs, mushrooms, tomatoes & thick cut buttered white toast. $21

Hotel roast of the day
Served with roast potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, peas, broccoli in cheese sauce & gravy. $20

Pork ribs
Stacked high and glazed in our smokey barbeque and cider sauce.  Served with chunky fries & a side salad. $32

Stuffed chicken
An oven-baked chicken breast filled with cream cheese, cashews & basil pesto, wrapped in bacon and served on
pan- fried gourmet potatoes & seasonal vegetables.  With a side of light gravy.  $31

Pork belly
Twice-cooked pork belly with crackling on kumara rosti  & a mix of pan fried seasonal vegetables . Served with caramelized onions & apple cider gravy.  $32

Lamb salad
A Moroccan spiced lamb fillet served medium rare with a salad of warm pumpkin, pinenuts, feta, and other good things.  Dressed with a herb vinaigrette.  $27

Blue Cod
Either in a crispy Steinlager beer batter or straight from the pan - you choose. Served with a mixed side salad, crunchy fries & a homemade tartare sauce.  $30

Salmon Fillet
A fillet of New Zealand’s finest sea run salmon. Served however the chef feels it is best! Just ask.  $32

Fisherman’s platter
A selection from the deep blue sea.  Crumbed scallops, tempura fish, squid rings, prawn twisters & garlic grilled prawns. Served on chunky fries with a fresh salad & 2 dipping sauces.  $32

300gm Sirloin
Cooked as you like it, then topped with onion rings, a sauce of your choice, a side salad and steak fries.  $33

400gm Ribeye on the bone
Cooked as you like it, served with onion rings, a sauce of your choice, a side salad and steak fries.  $35

Big kids steak
200g juicy rump with 2 eggs, chips & a pot of garlic butter.
Served on a smaller plate with no green stuff. Great for big kids or a late breakfast.  $22

220gm Fillet steak
Served medium rare on duck fat roasted potatoes with green beans, smoked baby beets, caramelized onions & melted blue cheese. Served with a jug of rich Merlot jus.   $34

Ploughman’s Platter- traditional
3 different kinds of (local) specialty sausage sliced on a board with toasted ciabatta, local cheddar, pickles, cherry tomatoes, mustard aioli and onion jam. $25

Deep fried prawns- 3 ways
Twisters, battered and crumbed prawns with tequila and lime aioli dipping sauce. $16

Tupelo Chicken Dippers
Our secret seasoning & crispy crumb served with dipping sauces (ranch & mild jalapeno).  $15

Duck fat roasted potatoes with rosemary salt.

Seafood chowder
Loaded with seafood - hot, thick & creamy.  Served with garlic ciabatta toast. $15
